The UC Denver Downtown Campus Student Health Insurance Office is dedicated in helping students in all areas of health insurance related issues to promote quality health insurance information to the student customer.

 

Domestic Students 

Domestic Students

The Student Health Insurance Plan is an annual full-service medical insurance plan tailored to the needs of the students of the Downtown Campus. The plan is underwritten by UnitedHealthcare and administered by AmeriBen 1-855-539-8678. For more details be sure to read the schedule of benefits listed in the benefit summary.
 

 

To be eligible for the student health insurance, undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours and graduate students must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program at the University of Colorado Denver.

 

International Students 

International Students

The University has a mandatory health insurance plan for all international students in the non-immigrant visa categories of F-1, J-1.

If you are covered under comparable coverage, you may qualify to waive out of the University issued student health insurance plan. Every student wishing to be waived from the University sponsored plan must fill out and submit the waiver form once every year.
