STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN 2017-2018
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus offers health insurance through the UnitedHealthCare
Insurance Company and provides a UnitedHealthCare StudentResources Student
Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan. All students enrolled in a degree and certain approved certificate seeking programs taking 1 or more credit hours are
automatically enrolled in this student health insurance plan unless a successful insurance waiver is submitted prior to the waiver deadline each academic year.
To waive out of the
student health insurance plan, your personal health insurance must
meet all of the requirements stated under Enrolling or Waiving Health Insurance to be approved. Waivers must be submitted each academic year
before the stated deadlines. For new students wishing to waive insurance for the 2017-2018 academic year, the insurance waiver portal is open from December 4th, 2017 to February 9th, 2018.
