 Account Holds

Past Due Over $50 Hold

  • If you are 100% eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill & still need to enroll in classes, please email us to request the Past Due Hold be lifted for the day, so you can register for classes. Please keep in mind this is an overnight batch process, so the hold will be lifted at 8am the morning after your request is made.
  • If you are less than 100% eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill, please first pay your portion of your student account & then email us to request the Past Due Hold  be lifted for the day, so you can register for classes. The hold will not be lifted if your portion has not been paid.
  • If you have a charge due on a previous semester, we can not lift the Past Due Over $50 Hold.

VA Refund Hold

  • If you have a credit on your account because you accepted financial aid, email us with the subject “Remove VA Hold.” Our office will review your account and determine if the credit should be refunded to you or not. If it is determined the credit should be refunded to you, the VA Refund Hold will be removed temporarily to allow the funds to be released and then be replaced on your account in case additional payments or funding is received.

  • The VA Refund Hold is a hold placed on our Post 9-11 GI Bill student accounts to prevent refunds of potential overpayments by the VA. The VA Refund Hold also prevents the refund of the College Opportunity Fund (COF) if it is applied to a student’s account after the VA has been billed for tuition and fees and has paid. The VA Refund Hold allows the Office of Veteran & Military Student Services to review a student’s account to verify that the VA paid correctly.
