Full-time status is based on the length of the term. For Maymester (3 weeks), full-time status for undergraduates is 3 credits while full-time status for graduates is 2.5 credits. For the two accelerated 5 week terms, 4 credits is full-time status for undergraduates while 3 credits is full-time for graduates. For the regular 8 week term, 6 credits is full-time for undergraduates while 5 credits is full-time for graduates. If you do not meet the above minimum credit hours for the term(s) you are enrolled in, you will not receive full-time status. If you are unsure if your class schedule is full-time, email with the subject "Check Summer 2015 for full-time status, your name, and student ID number."


Orientation information for students new to the University of Colorado Denver is available both for Freshmen and Transfer Students.

The VA Refund Hold is placed to prevent refunds that create student VA debts in the case that the VA overpays. The hold will remain on your account until the VA payment is posted to your account and the payment has been verified as correct. If you are expecting a refund, please contact us AFTER the VA payment has been posted to your student account so we can verify the payment and you can be refunded.
