University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus
Throughout this journey, Kim has come across many success and challenges. She has completed many courses and has gained great knowledge. In addition, she has had the opportunity to meet many wonderful colleagues. In regard to challenges, she has learned that she can only do so much at any given time. She has had to make adjustments in her personal life in order to stay on course to complete her degree by the end of the year. She looks forward to her clinical rotation and the knowledge she will receive. Yes, her academic plan has changed. She has had to extend her clinical experience due to personal reasons. This has caused her anticipated graduation date to be delayed. She would like to pursue a degree in Management/Leadership - which is a change from her original academic plan. At this time she does not have any permanent plans. She does plan to continue working. She may participate in teaching some courses at our local nursing institutions. She also plans on taking a vacation. It has been a long road. She is currently working in the role of Quality and Patient Safety Nurse. She will, however, be focusing on school full-time for the next several months.
