COAHEC Career Exploration

Highschool students and Health Profession Mentors

The Colorado AHEC Program FREE yearlong opportunity for 120 Colorado high-school students and their parents during the 2017-2018 school year (2 hours/month). After completing at least 7 of 8 meetings, students will attend a FREE week-long summer camp held at CU Denver & Anschutz campuses or locally for hands-on experiences in healthcare careers. In addition, 60 current health profession students will volunteer as mentors to help shape Colorado’s future healthcare providers.
