COAHEC Career Exploration

Highschool students

Colorado Area Health Education Center (COAHEC) invites high school students from Colorado to apply for a weeklong health care career exploration camp.  Fifty applicants will be selected to come to camp on July 19 – 25, 2020. The students will stay on the CU Boulder Campus and go on three-day trips to the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. Camp counselors, in a ratio of 1:10, will be comprised of students in health professions programs as well as undergraduate pre-health students. Matt Hess, the Associate Director of Programs for the Colorado AHEC Program Office will oversee the program with support from the COAHEC Program Office. The application will open on February 15, 2020 and the application deadline is April 15, 2020.
