Grant Development & Marketing Coordinator

Brief Overview:  This full-time, University Staff (non-classified) position, under the direction of the Director of the Area Health Education Center (AHEC), identifies potential business opportunities and grant sources that are consistent with our core mission. The GOC researches business and grant opportunities, prepares persuasive and articulate proposals with supporting documentation, developing budgets, identifying and analyzing data for individuals, government entities and corporations to solicit significant awards in support of the AHEC mission and priorities. The GOC is an ambassador for the organization and will build relationships with the public and private sectors and the media to increase awareness of and donor support for the organization. ​

Administrative Assisstant III
Job Number:  07637​
Brief Overview:  This full-time, state classified Administrative Assistant III position is responsible for providing program and administrative support services; assisting in: program design, development, evaluation, coordination and implementation of the Urban Underserved Track and general office support to the Colorado AHEC Program Office. The Urban Undeserved Track supports medical, physician assistant and nurse practitioner students in pursuing careers in providing care to urban underserved populations. The position will support the Director of the Urban Underserved Track by providing clerical, organizational, and logistical support in coordinating various projects related to the track. The position will also provide logistical support to medical students, PA students, and nurse practitioner students. This position will also provide general office support to the Colorado AHEC Program Office and administrative support for multiple AHEC programs as assigned. All work is to be done in accordance with the AHEC mission, which is as follows: The Colorado AHEC Program Office works to build state-wide network capacity and strengthen academic-community linkages in four core mission areas: health careers and workforce diversity; health professions student education; health professions continuing education; and public health and community education.
