New Faculty Orientation
The CFD sponsors an annual orientation program the week prior to the start of fall classes. The New Faculty Orientation Program is also available as an online course and is required for all new CU Denver faculty who are unable to attend the orientation events in person. Faculty are also required to complete the Assessment & Instructional Alignment course and the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) course. All three of these courses are available online within the campus portal "Faculty & Staff UCD/Access" SkillSoft_NFOCourses_Logon

Supporting Student Success
CU Denver is committed to raising the profile of first-generation students through collective efforts geared towards greater postsecondary participation and success. An array of social events are scheduled throughout the academic year to support students including those who are first generation students.
