Many teaching and professional principles can be explored through workshops, reading groups, and other activities, but there is no substitute for individual discussion about your teaching style, classroom goals, or professional aspirations with a CFDA staff member or a seasoned teaching fellow. We routinely assist our faculty colleagues with course design, assignment development, interpreting student evaluation results, addressing challenges in the classroom, and tips for preparing your dossier.
When you are ready to prepare for your comprehensive or tenure and promotion review we can provide you with sample dossiers and tips for maximizing the impact of your dossier.
As you prepare for the processes of tenure or promotion remember that the Center for Faculty Development has a variety of resources that will help you to prepare your dossier and present yourself in the best light possible. We maintain a collection of outstanding dossiers that you can use as inspiration and models. Our library contains several volumes on dossier production. And we are happy to read your statements and provide feedback.
