Nominations for the Outstanding Mentorship Award will open on Monday May 14th and close at 11:59 pm on June 8th.
Nominations for a postdoc can be submitted by a grad student, fellow postdoc, or faculty member.

Each nomination package will consist of answers to 3 questions: (500 words max per question)
1) How has this mentor promoted effective research? Please give specific examples for how the mentor has helped guide research plans, effectively communicate, credited your work, discussed future plans, encouraged and/or assisted with applications for fellowship or awards, and/or helped network with other people in or out of the lab.
2) How has this mentor helped in career development efforts? Please give specific examples for if the mentor has helped identify different career options across various fields, and identified career development resources.
3) How has this mentor encouraged diversity and inclusion efforts? Please give specific examples of how the mentor has shown respect for everyone (ie. Different genders, races, religions, sexual orientations, and disabilities).
At least ONE Letter of Support must be submitted, with additional letters being optional (limit 1 page per letter, max 5 letters per nomination). Letters of Support do not need to be formal but should provide additional examples of mentorship.
Letters can be submitted by current or former lab members, even if they are no longer on campus (ie summer students, previous grad students, previous postdocs, etc)
ALL nomination materials should be submitted at the same time for each nominee.
