Interprofessional Education & Development Facilitators Needed

Would you like to become an IPED facilitator!

What is IPED? An introductory course within the Anschutz Medical Campus Interprofessional Education (IPE) program with a focus on three nationally identified competency domains that the health professions schools/programs on our campus and their respective accrediting bodies have adopted:

  1) Teamwork and Collaboration     2) Values and Ethics     3) Quality and Safety

Students work in interprofessional teams under the guidance of faculty facilitators.  Sessions use a Team-Based-Learning (TBL) approach to impart knowledge, skills and behaviors which promote interprofessional collaborative practice.

IPED facilitators are a critical part of the success of the IEP program. Our facilitator volunteers are a team of faculty members from various schools and programs across University of Colorado, Children’s Hospital Colorado and other community partners of the AMC campus. If you interested in working with students across the health professions and eager to participate actively in the refinement of an innovative course, we would like to invite you to become an Interprofessional Education and Development (IPED) facilitator! If so, we want you as an Interprofessional Education and Development (IPED) facilitator!
