Check-In & Orientation


All new international students in F or J visa classification, including any transfers from other institutions within the U.S​., are required to complete the online Orientation course and attend the in person Check-In with the ISSS staff.  Th​is is requir​ed to better prepare a student so they can be more successful in their time at the University of Colorado Denver.  See the information below:

Undergraduate STUDENTS

Undergraduate students are required to complete the online orientation course.  After admission and completion of the immigration clearance form, new students will be notified how enroll in the online orientation course.  This course is required for all students. 

Students are also required to attend the in-person student conference.  This finalizes your arrival to the University of Colorado Denver. See the dates below for more information:

GRADUATE STUDENTS (Includes PhD)

Graduate students are required to complete the online orientation course.  After admission and completion of the immigration clearance form, new students will be notified how enroll in the online orientation course.  This course is required for all students. 

Often Graduate Students will also have an additional orientation with their individual departments.  They will need to contact their school or department. 

Students are also required to attend an in-person student conference.  This finalizes your arrival to the University of Colorado Denver.

Anschutz MEDICAL CAMPUS STUDENTS​

Undergraduate & Graduate Students 

Students that complete their programs at the Anschutz Medical Campus are required to complete the online orientation course.  This is students in the College of Nursing, School of Public Health, School of Pharmacy, School of Dentistry, and Graduate School of Medicine. After admission and completion of the immigration clearance form, new students will be notified how enroll in the online orientation course.  This course is required for all students. 

Often Graduate Students will also have an additional orientation with their individual departments.  They will need to contact their school or department.
