The University Honors and Leadership (UHL) program offers you the opportunity to participate in internship programs that enrich leadership skills and complement your major field of study. Internships can play an important role in testing your interest in particular career areas, in honing the tools and skills necessary for your chosen career, and in developing a network of contacts that can assist you in finding employment upon graduation.
UHL students are allowed to earn UHL academic credit for their internship experiences, though internship credits do not count toward the 27 hours of coursework required for UHL certification. For further information, please contact Steven Medema, UHL Director.
