Multidisciplinary adult primary care at the University of Colorado’s Internal Medicine Clinics - Anschutz Medical Campus. Services include direct patient care for chronic disease states including diabetes, hypertension, chronic pain and mental health disorders under collaborative practice agreements. The clinic serves as a training site for pharmacy and medicine interns, residents and fellows.
Adult primary care, including gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, mental health and
improving medication safety with health information technology. Broad areas of interest include evaluation of computerized clinical decision support and pharmacist services/interventions to improve safe and effective medication use with implementation science and health services research methods. Dr. Trinkley has been successful in securing over $700,000 in extramural support for her research as PI or Co-PI.
