Claymore Cuny

Clay is a proud member of the Oglala Lakota tribe and was born on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Walla Walla University in Washington state and then earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Clay completed his PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette Colorado. After completing his first year of residency Clay began his practice as an inpatient clinical pharmacist for the Indian Health Service at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center. After a wonderful two years of learning and growing, Clay was thrilled to match to the University of Colorado for his PGY2 training and looks forward to all the learning and research opportunities available. His areas of interest include academia and clinical research. Clay enjoys all areas of study in oncology and through his residency hopes to find the best area of practice to fit his professional career. In his free time, Clay enjoys exploring the mountains, playing basketball, snowboarding, cheering on the Buffs and spending time with family. He is excited to continue his training at the University of Colorado and take advantage of any free time by having adventures in the mountains.
