PharmD/IHM Program


Current students and alumni of CU Skaggs School of Pharmacy’s Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) pathways may apply PharmD course credits towards the Integrative Health and Medicine Certificate. Current students must be in good academic good standing to qualify.

 

 Programs of Study:

 

 Entry-Level PharmD (ELPD)

Current students and alumni of the School’s Entry-Level PharmD pathway may be eligible to receive up to 3.5 credit hours applied to the IHM certificate for courses completed within the ELPD curriculum.

  • PHRD 6065 Evidence-Based Medicine and Literature Evaluation  (1.5 credit hours applied)
  • PHRD 7860 Introductory and Applied Integrative Health and Medicine – elective course  (2.0 credit hours applied)

ELPD students complete the following courses to earn the IHM Certificate

  • PIHM 7442 Applied Evidence Based Medicine in IHM  (1.5 credit hours)
  • PIHM 7670 Pharmacology of Integrative Medicines  (2.0 credit hours)
  • PIHM 7680 Integrative Health in Common Clinical Disease  (2.0 credit hours)

 Post-Bachelor’s PharmD (NTPD and ITPD)

Current students and alumni of the School’s NTPD and ITPD pathways may be eligible to receive 2.5 credit hours applied to the IHM certificate for courses completed within their respective curriculum.

              

  • PRDO 7440 Evidence-Based Medicine (1.5 credit hours applied)
  • PRDO 7775 Introductory and Applied Integrative Health and Medicine I – elective course (1.0 credit hour) 

NTPD and ITPD students complete the following courses to earn the IHM Certificate

  • PIHM 7778 – Introductory and Applied Integrative Health and Medicine II (1.0 credit hour)
  • PIHM 7442 Applied Evidence Based Medicine in IHM  (1.5 credit hours)
  • PIHM 7670 Pharmacology of Integrative Medicines  (2.0 credit hours)
  • PIHM 7680 Integrative Health in Common Clinical Disease  (2.0 credit hours)
