JFK Partners

University of Colorado Denver

JFK Partners is an interdepartmental program reflecting a collaboration between the Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at the University of Colorado Denver. The mission of JFK Partners -- which has been designated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research, and Service -- is to promote the independence, health, and inclusion of individuals with developmental disabilities and special health care needs. The multidisciplinary staff of JFK Partners accomplishes these objectives through the education and training of health care professionals, consultation with community organizations (e.g., schools), provision of exemplary health care services to affected clients and families, and research related to developmental disabilities and special health care needs originating in childhood.
