The Stakeholder Advisory Board (SAB) will provide insights, feedback and recommendations to researchers and community research partners regarding the conduct of research in nursing homes for residents in post-acute and long-term care. Patients and families, staff and providers, facility administrators and corporate representatives, and consultants in both medical ethics and conduct of research all have important perspectives that can contribute to a more successful conduct of research in nursing facilities.
The SAB will:
Provide feedback to researchers regarding the importance and feasibility of research protocols.
Provide a “sounding board” for research ideas and research-community partnerships.
Facilitate connections between community and academic researchers and facility personnel.
Provide written approval, if warranted, of your study for grant purposes if requested.
Researchers can present their ideas to the Stakeholder Advisory Board. To get started, please download our Research Evaluation Form and submit the completed copy to email@example.com. Or, feel free to ask us for more information.
