Why did you decide to pursue a Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Stem Cells and Development?

I love cells. I think it is miraculous that such a tiny unit contains so many intricate processes responsible for the existence of living things.

Why did you choose CU's Anschutz Medical Campus?

I was drawn to the faculty research. The program allowed me to explore all of my specific interests within cell/developmental biology. I fell in love with Colorado later, after visiting a few times.

Where did you grow up?

Florence, New Jersey.

When did you start the graduate program at Anschutz Medical Campus?

Fall, 2011.

What do you do for fun?

I spend my free time running, singing, or cooking/baking.
