Program Coordinator Council:
The mission of the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine Program Coordinator Council is to provide coordinators a platform to exchange, develop and implement ideas and to foster communication between Program Coordinators, Program Directors and the Office of Graduate Medical Education in order to ensure the success of residency and fellowship training programs.
TAGME - Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education:
Certification provides a national standard and recognition for GME training administrators. The ACGME recently added C-TAGME to the drop-down box of credentials that can be used following the program coordinator’s name in the WebADS profile. This qualification sets them apart as a high level administrator with the knowledge, skills and expertise needed to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of a training program. Currently there are 22 ACGME specialties offering certification assessment, and four additional specialties are in the process of developing a certification assessment expecting completion by 2011. For more information about TAGME Certification in your specialty, go to http://www.tagme.org.
