Welcome to the University of Colorado Physical Therapy Program
We offer a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree upon completion of our outstanding curriculum. We have been preparing graduates to enter the physical therapy profession following a tradition of educational excellence for over 65 years. The Program began in 1948 with its first class of six students and has since graduated over 2000 physical therapists, many of whom have contributed to the growth of physical therapy in the Rocky Mountain Region. You too, could become part of the University of Colorado Physical Therapy Program family!
In keeping with Vision 2020 of the American Physical Therapy Association, our Program’s success is linked to our superb faculty, and our location on the interprofessional Anschutz Medical Campus. We have a strong network of supportive alumni and clinical faculty throughout the Rocky Mountain Region and the US.
We are committed to the education and professional development of students, as we embody our mission:
To provide Colorado and the nation with programs of excellence in education, clinical care, research & scholarship, and community service.
