Ms. Maldonado’s research interests focus on the development and assessment of clinical reasoning, for which she has received two grants. Rebecca was accepted into the Academic Pediatric Association’s Educational Scholars Program in 2015, and will complete the program in 2018. Ms. Maldonado works as a clinical physician assistant at the Child Health Clinic at Children’s Hospital Colorado, where she helps train physician assistant students, medical students, and residents. She serves as a reviewer for the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.Awards:Excellence in Direct Teaching from the Academy of Medical Educators, May 2011.
