Kelsey Dougherty, MMSc, PA-C

Mrs. Dougherty is a clinical instructor in the Department of Pediatrics. She graduated from the Yale School of Medicine’s Physician Associate Program in 2011 and joined the CHA/PA Program faculty in 2018.  After graduation from Yale, she practiced for four years in both inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplantation at the Dana Farber Institute in Boston, MA.  She moved to Denver in 2015, and practiced for three years in inpatient Infectious Disease at the University of Colorado Hospital (UCH).  She continues to maintain active clinical time within Infectious Disease at UCH, as a member of the multidisciplinary Limb Restoration team.  She is the co-director for the Gastrointestinal/Genitourinary/Renal and Musculoskeletal/Neurology blocks, as well as the Clinical Skills course.  Her scholarship interests include interprofessional education and advocacy within the PA profession.
