Mission and Vision

The Mission of the global health track (GHT) is to provide interested students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed as health care providers in the global health arena. Through didactic and experiential learning, students gain a better understanding of the issues facing developing communities and the ways they can work to be part of the solution.

Our Vision is that through didactic and experiential learning, students gain a better understanding of the issues facing developing communities and the ways they can work to be part of the solution.

Students enrolled in the GHT are part of a four-year program that includes additional course work and intensive project planning on top of their already rigorous schedules.  Students also complete their Mentored Scholarly Activity (MSA) working with one of the tracks international partners, with their own global health project, or with indigent communities (such as refugee communities) in the United States.
