​The Clerkships at the University of Colorado School of Medicine follow the traditional model of the way courses are taught in medical school. Students focus are a particular course for a set period of time and then learn new content in their next course. During this time, the students are immersed in learning clinical skills that are relevant to each particular course. At the University of Colorado School of Medicine, the clerkships that students participate in their third year take place at a variety of locations and for a varying duration of time.
