MattAndreas Thyssen is finishing his third year of medical school and wrote a commentary, "Hard Labor," reflecting on an isolated part of our society - prisons. It was published in "On Being A Doctor," in Annals of Internal Medicine. Andreas' involvement with the justice system started when he volunteered to help inmates study for their high school equivalency exam.

MattWe are honored to announce the Henry N. and Janet S. Claman Endowed Professorship in Medical Humanities, which will provide annual support for a visiting professor to bring new perspectives and voices to our campus.
