The Division of GI, Tumor and Endocrine Surgery (GITES) expanded from traditional general surgery to include Gastrointestinal and Oncology Surgery; Trauma and Surgical Critical Care; and Minimally Invasive, Bariatric and Burn Surgery. Our surgeons provide modern, comprehensive care for both outpatients and inpatients for routine and critical medical conditions. These conditions involve the gastrointestinal tract, endocrine system, colon, liver, pancreas, rectum, gallbladder, hernias and breast surgery, trauma, surgical critical care, minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery.
All of our surgeons hold faculty appointments at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and several serve in leadership positions of national medical societies. They all contribute to our mission of providing clinical excellence, education and advancing medical knowledge. Our physicians work together using a collaborative approach to care. Patients are referred to the surgeon with the appropriate expertise.
We hope that our website provides you with useful information about the services we offer.
