Kristin Petrillo
Whether you feel you need to be screened for lung cancer, are concerned over results from a lung-cancer screening test, or have been diagnosed with lung cancer, I am available to listen to your experiences and help you navigate through the medical journey. Many patients who find themselves in a position of concern for lung cancer have many questions: Where do I go first—the lung doctors, the surgeon, the cancer doctors? What tests am I going to need? What is the best treatment? Where can I get help with smoking cessation? Will changing my diet help? How long will all of this take?
It is my goal as a Nurse Practitioner with experience in the cancer field to assist you with all of your questions and make a plan to get you answers in a timely fashion. I will be your point person from the start—from your initial phone call through your entire visit with our team of experts. I will listen to your concerns, determine the testing you need, and get you in quickly to be seen by our multidisciplinary team. Our unique multidisciplinary team approach aims to address all of your needs in one visit as well as to provide you with the most up-to-date and evidence-based treatment options available. It is my goal to leave you feeling as though you can and will be able to tackle the next steps of your journey with confidence in your medical team.
Call me today to start your journey with the Lung Cancer Multidisciplinary Clinic at the University of Colorado Denver and the University of Colorado Hospital.
