The Potomac Street Center



The Potomac Street Center is an adult outpatient substance abuse program in Aurora that specializes in Methadone and buprenorphine (Suboxone) treatment for opioid dependence, in addition to other medication monitored services such as Antabuse, Vivitrol, naltrexone, and acamprosate (Campral).  We offer a wide variety of services that include group counseling for Relapse Prevention, Methadone topics, Family Groups, Life Management Skills, Individual Counseling, Family Counseling, Couples Counseling as well as psycho-education for our patients and their families.  The Potomac Street Center has a DUI Level II Education and Therapy program.  We also offer Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services for offenders and specialized treatment for clients involved with the social services/child welfare system. We also provide random urine monitoring and substance abuse evaluations. Potomac Street serves individuals whom are self-referred and as well persons referred by Arapahoe County Social Services, Denver County Probation, and Arapahoe County Probation.  


Our staff is diverse and is comprised of licensed professionals, masters level therapists, experienced recovering clinicians, licensed nurses, and certified addiction counselors.  The Potomac Street Center is proud of its consumer friendly and welcoming environment.  The clinic is easily accessible to those utilizing public transportation.
