Dr. Gore joined the University of Colorado School of Medicine faculty
as an Assistant Professor in July 2001. She trained in Pediatrics at
Children's National Medical Center and the University of Colorado.
She completed her fellowship training in pediatric hematology/oncology/bone
marrow transplantation at the University of Colorado Cancer Center and Children's Hospital Colorado.
Dr. Gore is a member of the Developmental Therapeutics (phase I clinical trials) Program, where she also directs the Early Phase Hematological Malignancies Program. These comprehensive programs include multidisciplinary cancer clinics, tumor boards, and research endeavors. She is the founder and the Program Leader of the Experimental Therapeutics Program at Children's Hospital Colorado. She co-founded and co-directs the Pediatric Oncology Experimental Therapeutics Investigators' Consortium (POETIC) and collaborates regularly with European Investigators on international phase I oncology studies. Dr. Gore's primary interests are in leukemias and sarcomas. She has received funding from the National Cancer Institute, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Alex's Lemonade Stand, and numerous foundation awards. She has more than 65 publications of her work and has lectured extensively nationally and internationally
