Who we are The Division of Infectious Diseases is a
multidisciplinary team of educators, healthcare
professionals, and research scientists. We work to
improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of
infectious diseases through research, education
and training.
Our Shared Mission
Provide compassionate and state-of-the-art
medical care for patients with infections, including
comprehensive care for persons living with HIV
infection, conduct cutting-edge research to
advance scientific knowledge, train the next
generation of physicians to become national
leaders in infectious diseases clinical care, education and research. Serve our communities
by public and provider education, and assistance
in protecting the public health.
Dr. Dinarello, Professor in Infectious Diseases, will receive an honorary doctorate from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland in November, 2011. In 2011 Dr. Dianrello also received honorary doctorates from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Albany Medical College and Raboud University in the Netherlands.
