Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Pantcheva specializes in the medical and surgical managment of glaucoma and cataracts. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and ARVO. Dr. Pantcheva is involved in several clinical studies including prevalence in glaucoma in Chinese Americans, use of nonsterodial agents versus steroids post-SLT treatment, as well as in basic science research. Her research interests include neuroprotection in glaucomatous optic neuropathy, blood flow and its relation to glaucomatous optic neuropathy.
