Dr. Davis’ academic focus is on clinical care in the wilderness or austere environment.  He currently serves as the Assistant Fellowship Director for Wilderness Medicine within the Department of Emergency Medicine.  He is the medical director for Altitude and Mountain Medicine Consultants, a branch of the Travel, Expedition and Altitude Medicine (TEAM) Clinic at the University of Colorado Hospital.  He is currently conducting research on altitude illness and avalanche injury patterns.
