Brief AA and Program description:
Welcome to the University of Colorado's Master of Medical Science Program in Anesthesiology. An Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) is a highly trained allied health professional who works under the medical direction of a licensed Anesthesiologist to develop and implement anesthesia care plans. This intense 27 month medical graduate program will develop and graduate AAs of the highest level to work within the Anesthesia Care Team model.

Our next application period will open in August 2013
for August 2014 enrollment. Prerequisite coursework may be completed in
the spring and summer semesters of 2014, but your undergraduate degree and all
prerequisite courses must be completed with acceptable grades before our August
2014 start date.
