Description: The 1883 Society Breakfast is an annual gathering of classes
that have celebrated their 50th anniversary of graduating from
medical school. This year, Dean John J. Reilly, Jr., MD, and the
Medical Alumni Association will induct the Class of 1968 and
welcome Matt Vogl, MPH, as our guest. He is the executive
director of the National Mental Health Innovation Center
(NMHIC). This presentation will provide insight into technology
and mental health in everyday life and how the NMHIC is finding
new technologies that have the power to improve mental health
outcomes and break down barriers to care.

Description: For more than four decades, the School of Medicine and the Medical
Alumni Association have hosted the Silver & Gold Alumni Banquet.
The event celebrates the School of Medicine and the role our alumni
have played in transforming the art and science of medicine. The 2018
banquet will honor the Class of 1968, celebrate the 2018 graduating class
and recognize esteemed alumni who have gone on to enjoy impressive
careers in medical care and research.
Cost: $65 per person (No cost for Class of 1968 members; all other guests $65)

Suggested Parking: Discounted event valet parking $17/car, overnight valet parking
is $46/car. Parking is also available in the self-parking garage attached
to the Grand Hyatt with an entrance off Glenarm Street between 17th and
18th. Self-parking rates are $3 every half hour with a maximum of
$18/car up to 7 p.m. and $8/car after that for an overnight 12 hour period.
