Faculty and students at the School of Dental Medicine are proud to provide positive change in the lives of their patients.  The SDM provides 82,000 direct clinical visits annually to individuals both on the Anschutz Medical Campus and across the state to some of Colorado’s most underserved populations.   Dental care is about more than teeth; it’s about increasing a person’s quality of life by giving them a smile they can feel good about.

Emergency Clinic

 

The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine provides urgent and emergency care for our patients of record (that is, patients currently treated by a dental student, general practice resident, graduate periodontal or orthodontic resident or dental faculty provider) as well as for patients who are not presently being treated at the School of Dental Medicine.

For patients who do not have a provider at the School and are experiencing pain or are in need of urgent care, the Emergency Clinic is avilable on a 'first come, first serve' basis Monday through Friday.  Clinic sessions being at 10 am and 2 pm.

Graduate General Dentistry Practice and Graduate Periodontics Clinic 

This advanced care clinic provides superb patient care at affordable rates while providing a high-level of clinical expertise.  These programs utilize state-of-the-art technology and techniques to provide you with the hightest quality dental care.  The dental care that our patients receive is provided by licensed dentists who are continuing their clinical training in one of our graduate residency programs. Our graduate dentists are supervised and directed by clinicians in their respective specialty fields of endodonics, prosthodontics, periodontics and oral surgery.  Our individualized treatment approach ensures that each of our patients will receive the best treatment options available to accommodate their particular needs.  

The Graduate General Dentistry Practice can provide a wide array of services including but not limited to general dentistry, biopsies, bridges, crowns, dentures, implants, periodontal disease, root canals, third molar extractions (wisdom teeth) and multiple extractions with iv sedation.

Patients in the School of Dental Medicine Dental Student Clinic receive thorough, comprehensive care at significantly discounted rates.  Highly-supervised dentists-in-training are assisted by expert clinic staff and dentists who oversee all aspects of the treatment.  Our state-of-the-art facilities ensure that your dental needs are served with outstanding results.
