  • A highly integrated program created to foster research excellence and training in the characterization of bimolecular structure and mechanisms of molecular interactions. 
  • Broad research areas: Gene regulation, Structure & function, Virus and bacteria mechanisms, Signaling and receptor function, Cancer Biology, Immunology, Lipid biochemistry, Glycobiology, Renal biology, Therapeutics and diagnostics, Technology development, and much more. 
  • Interdisciplinary nature of program offer students vast access to state of the art core facilities: NMR, X-Ray Crystallography, Mass Spectrometry, Proteomics, BioPhysics, Peptide/Protein Chemistry, and Computational Biology. 
  • Students, through the seminar series and annual Structural Symposium, are given access to the research occurring not only at UC Denver, but across the country.
