To claim a locker for the semester you must first place a lock (locks not provided) on your selected locker (one per student) and then email your information to: ESS.AMCStudentlockers@ucdenver.edu. Please include your name, school of enrollment, the locker number and building in which the locker is located, an e-mail address, and a convenient number at which to reach you.
Insurance:
All degree and specific approved, certificate-seeking students enrolled in five or more credit hours must take the School of Medicine's Student Health Insurance Plan unless they can prove enrollment in other comparable insurance. Students taking under five credit hours in a degree program are also eligible to purchase the SHI Plan by submitting a selection/waiver form by the deadline date.

Tuition/Fees:

No. The tuition deposit must be paid directly by the student.
No. Payments must be made with a personal or bank check, money order or cash.
Immunizations:
No. Immunization records from any other source will not be accepted. The Graduate School form must be completed and signed by a certifying official.
Anschutz Medical Campus has an Occupational Healthcare Clinic. The clinic is not set up to accept any insurance payments, so students must pay at time of service. Additionally, the clinic does not accepted credit cards. Students may call 303-724-0345 to schedule an appointment. They are located in Building 401, Room 210. The immunization requirement for new students is a condition of admittance and therefore must be completed prior to attending.
A health hold is placed on your records if you have not turned in the required University immunization form or if you have not obtained the required immunizations. You will not be able to register until the hold is lifted.
Background Check:
No. The employee background check does not use the same criteria that the Graduate School requires for background checks.
No. You will be required to have a separate background check through the Graduate School.
If the background check completed by the Graduate School was done more than a year ago, a new background check is required.
Financial Aid
Financial Aid information can be found in the Quick Links section on this page under “Financial Aid”. Their office is located on the third floor of the ED2 North building and they can be reached at 303-556-2886.
Registration:
Contact your graduate program administrator for pertinent information regarding your individual registration requirements. The individual programs determine the time line and process for your registration.
International students must be enrolled full-time. You must register for a minimum of five (5) credits each Fall and Spring and three (3) credits in the Summer to be considered full-time.
You will need to contact the Registrar’s Office at 303-724-8056 to determine what type of hold has been placed on your record and then contact the office that placed the hold to see what needs to be accomplished in order to have the hold removed.
Email Accounts:
No. All email communications from the University are sent to your University account only. University of Colorado Denver Anschut Medical Campus email cannot be electronically redirected to another email address. Not reading email does not absolve a student from the responsibilities associated with communication sent to his or her official email address. Students are expected to check their official email address on a frequent and consistent basis in order to stay current with University communications (at a minimum, once a week). Students have the responsibility to recognize that certain communications may be time critical.
