The Graduate School is committed in philosophy and practice to promoting diversity among students, faculty, and staff. Applications from students representing a variety of backgrounds and experiences are encouraged.
Successful applicants reflect personal and academic backgrounds acceptable to the University. The University reserves the right to deny admission to applicants whose credentials indicate an inability to assume those obligations of performance and behavior deemed essential by the University as reflected in its honor code and lawful processes and functions as an educational institution.
Admission to the Graduate School is not admission to candidacy for an advanced degree. A student who wishes to become a candidate for a degree must make special application at the time and in the manner prescribed by the requirements for the degree sought.
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE), or its equivalent, is required for all applicants. The University of Colorado Denver-HSC Campus code is 4875. Applicants should check with individual programs regarding the GRE and any recommended subject tests. Computer-based testing is offered year-round in many locations. GRE booklets (including application materials) are available at the Graduate School office, or by contacting the ETS/GRE program directly at (609) 771-7670. You can e-mail ETS staff at email@example.com or click here to visit the ETS Website www.gre.org.
