The Interprofessional Palliative Care Certificate and Master of Science in Palliative Care is designed to prepare healthcare providers and allied health professionals as Palliative Care Community Specialists to meet the needs of patients and families living with serious illness.

The University of Colorado School of Medicine has been approved to begin offering a first-in-the-nation non-residential fellowship program as a way to meet the need for trained physician specialists in hospice and palliative medicine. Beginning in the summer 2020, six mid-career physicians will begin training in the new Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship demonstration project.
