Support of Anschutz Campus Program Administrators with admissions procedures and preparation/submission of admission files.

Matriculation and processing of incoming Anschutz Campus graduate students (background checks, immunizations, online orientation, fees and enrollment).

Management of the Anschutz Campus basic science non-degree process (application review, matriculation and student enrollment).

Collaboration with International Student Scholars and Services Office regarding Anschutz Campus international student files/completion of students’ I-20s.

Review and approval of student progress documents/verification of student committees.

Support for student databases

Responsibilities:

Graduate School website maintenance and updates and web-development assistance

General desktop and technical support including workstation maintenance of software and hardware

Management and maintenance of Graduate School servers, including web and database server

Electronic implementations of event registrations and surveys

Local Area Network (LAN) administrator

Software consultation

Responsibilities:

Internal and external, oral and written communications from the Dean’s Office.

Support of regular administrative meetings, program and other constituent meetings, large group meetings, on and off campus

Processing of Graduate Faculty Appointments for Anschutz Campus

Travel support for Graduate School Deans

Support of special Graduate School Dean Projects

Responsibilities:

Oversight of Graduate School IT operations

Design, implementation and management of centralized database for training grants.

Resource for training-grant-reporting requirements for all major granting institutions.

Adoption of technologically oriented solutions to enhance the graduate education endeavor

Supervision of program administrators for Anschutz Campus basic science PhD and Master’s degree programs

Production and coordination of standards-compliant, uniform web presences, catalogs, and other communications materials.

Responsibilities:

Support of logistics and implementation of Graduate School events including room reservations, set up and inventory for all events

Assistance for selection of marketing and promotional materials

Oversight of work students regarding data entry and event assistance

Support for Associate Dean regarding BEST Program and Outreach related efforts

Assistance for graduation and commencement celebrations

Responsibilities:

Oversight of postdoctoral fellow-related issues

Management of the Graduate School’s career development program

Coordination of campus-wide trainee career and professional development opportunities

Alumni and employer relations

Support for postdoctoral fellow and student organizations

Responsibilities:

Student support from admission to graduation and throughout graduate training

Implementation of policies and procedures as approved by the Graduate Council and proposal of modifications that enhance the students’ and faculty experience.

Promotion of trainee diversity

Support of recruitment efforts to increase the visibility of graduate programs locally, regionally and nationally.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the financial business operations of the Graduate School

Manage the School’s grants, gifts, endowment and other Funds

Graduate School Human Resource liaison

Responsibilities:

Support of purchasing, receivables, and payables using CU Marketplace, Concur etc.

Management of travel awards, scholarships, stipends and Graduate School awards

Student Council and Careers in Science Club liaison for financial policy compliance and reimbursements

Management of various financial obligations of Graduate School including Postdocs Office related to speaker honorariums and travel support.

Resource for training grant financial management

Graduate School HR support for student hires

Responsibilities:

Development and implementation of new graduate programs

Resource for trainees and faculty including opportunities for broadening experiences in scientific and scholarly training/integrating professional and career development into graduate and post-graduate training

Development of dual campus demonstrations of scientific and scholarly expertise such as Mini-Schools and Mini-Symposia

Program Director and Course Director of dual campus Professional Science Master’s Program in Biomedical Sciences and Biotechnology

Support for Diversity and Inclusion

Student progress oversight and student conduct, Denver Campus

Responsibilities:

Director of Graduate Admission and Technology

Oversight of all graduate degree and non-degree applications on the Denver Campus

Configuration and testing of all online applications on both the Denver and the Anschutz campus

Implementation, maintenance and training for new electronic data management systems

Review and code of residential status, and review of criminal and suspension service indicators

Administrative support for the graduate recruitment and centralized graduate admission process for the College of Architecture and Planning

Responsibilities:

Administrative support for the graduate recruitment and centralized graduate admission process of the academic departments within the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS)

Evaluation of admission files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements and standards specified by the academic departments within CEAS, International Admissions, and the Graduate School;

Submition to and validation of data in ISIS/PeopleSoft (Student Information System), Document Management System, and Nelnet (Payment System);

Compilation of student application folders for Admissions Committees, matriculation of admitted domestic students and verification of residency status;

General support of CEAS graduate program constituents and update of CEAS policies and procedures
