To study at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) at International College Beijing (ICB), you must be admitted as both an international student through China Agricultural University (CAU) and, for the sophomore through senior years, as a CU Denver student.
Please refer to CAU admissions policies. First-year courses are currently taught in English at CAU.
To apply to CU Denver, you will need to submit the following materials. All materials must be received by July 15 to start in fall semester.
- International student application for admission (online)
- International student application fee (online)
- High school transcripts
- Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL score of 71 or higher; IELTS score of 6.0 or higher)
- Official CAU transcript with first-year courses (minimum cumulative GPA of 2.4)
If you are entering CU Denver after having taken university courses elsewhere, your transcript will be evaluated to determine which courses will be accepted for credit at CU Denver. Provided that you received a grade of “C-“ or higher, your first-year courses will transfer one for one to CU Denver. Beginning the second year, all courses taken at CU Denver at ICB will show up on your CU Denver transcript.
