The NTPD Program is a flexible
program for working pharmacists licensed in the United States or Canada.
The program format is offered in a full-time or part-time format.
Didactic coursework is delivered online and no visits to campus are
Experiential training requirements may be met through a combination of
live rotations and, in many cases, through credit received for qualified
previous professional work. The NTPD Program is fully accredited by the
Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
Graduates are awarded the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree upon program completion.
The NTPD Program requires the completion of a total of 65 credit hours:
- 35 credit hours of online didactic coursework taught using a variety
methods including asynchronous forums, simulations, live team and
- 30 credit hours of live experiential training, which is equivalent
to 30 weeks of rotations. Opportunities are available for student to
complete rotations with our best-in-class preceptors in Colorado or
within their existing communities.
Program requirements can be completed in as few as two years full-time study or up to six years part-time study.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. April 15 is the
application deadline for fall semester and October 15 is the application
deadline for spring semester.
