Program Requirements

The Post-Masters PhD track consists of 72 semester credits and can be completed in three to five full time academic years. There are three focal areas: Biobehavioral Science, Health Care Systems, and Caring Science.

  • Dissertation: 30 credits
  • Required Core: 17 credits
  • Focal Core: 19 credits
  • Elective: 6 credits

The MS-PhD track consists of 102 semester credits, 30 of which complete the MS degree and the remaining 72 PhD credits are listed above. ​
