  Online Nonprofit Management Certificate

​Program Requirements

Non-degree students can earn the Certificate in Nonprofit Organizations by successfully completing 15 credit hours from courses offered and approved by the faculty of the Program Concentration in Nonprofit Organizations.

Nonprofit Organizations Certificate Courses

Required Courses:

  • PAD 5110 Seminar on Nonprofit Management
  • PAD 5140 Nonprofit Financial Management

Elective Courses (students select three):

  • PAD 5120 Nonprofits and Public Policy
  • PAD 5130 Collaboration across Sectors
  • PAD 5150 Understanding and Achieving Funding Diversity
  • PAD 5160 Nonprofit Boards and Executive Leadership
  • PAD 5170 Strategic Management for Nonprofit and Public Managers
  • PAD 5180 Social Entrepreneurship
  • PAD 6600 Special Topics in Nonprofit Management (changes each semester)
