What Makes This Early Literacy Program Unique
In this 9 semester credit program, you’ll learn how linguistic and cultural diversity affect students' learning and how to tailor your instructions accordingly. You’ll also learn how to create rich environments in which learners experience purposeful language, both orally and literary.
And you can apply these credits directly toward a full MA in Curriculum and Instruction, while simultaneously fulfilling the requirements toward a Colorado Reading Teacher Endorsement.
Real World Focus
This program is designed for teachers who:
- Want to improve overall expertise and skill.
- Lack formal credentials needed to adequately serve a diverse classroom.
- Require schedule flexibility.
