CU Online provides services and support used to improve student learning. Through research and faculty partnerships, we are continually looking for ways to improve and increase current offerings. If you have an idea, let us know! 

Canvas: The learning management system designed to leverage teaching and learning opportunities.

CUOnline Open: A platform designed to deliver continuing education and outreach courses.

Turnitin: A cloud-based service for originality checking, online grading, and peer review.

Proctorio: An automated proctoring software designed to validate identiy and monitor activity during online exams. 

Zoom​: A cloud based web conferencing software with direct Canvas integration.

Qualtrics: An online survey tool designed specifically for research and course evaluations.

Badges in Canvas: A crediential used to validate skills and accomplishments, which can be used as evidence of knowledge.

NetTutor Pilot: On demand online tutoring service, available 24/7

Respondus 4.0: A tool used to create and manage exams outside the learning mangement system. 

Respondus Lockdown Browser: A custom browser designed to lockdown a testing environment.

Online Program Marketing: Dedicated marketing services for online programs and degrees.

Starfish Pilot: An early warning and student tracking system designed to increase student success.

Emerging Technology: Research initatives, faculty partnerships, and software pilots in the area of emerging technologies.

Faculty Training and Support: CU Online provides a number of trainings, events, and support options for faculty.

Service Partnerships w/ Technology Support Services

Classroom response system: Technology used in a face-to-face classroom to poll students and gather immediate feedback.

Panopto: An integrated lecture capture system used for classroom capture. 

Academic video production​: CU Online has funding for creating academic videos for faculty to use in their online courses.
