Courses and Workshops

Many of our CU Online courses and workshops have an instructional design focus. We offer an online 10-week course, self-paced electives, and a variety of other workshops.

Course Reviews and Consultations

CU Online offers the opportunity for faculty to partner with an instructional designer for one-on-one course reviews and consultations.  As a beginning step, we recommend that a course is evaluated using the Collaborative Course Mapping model, to improve course design through aligning learning outcomes with course assesments and activities.

We are also happy to partner with you for an overall course evaluation, or to focus on any of the topics listed below (or any topic you choose!)

            Assessment Alignment/Redesign

            Course Mapping

            Interactive Learning Object Creation

Course Video Consultation - including Captioning

            Course Accessibility/Universal Design Analysis

            Course Time/Workload Analysis

            Discussions and Group Work
