| Pulse Pen Workshop |
This is not your parent’s ball point pen.
Using a Pulse Pen, what you write or draw on the Pulse paper is translated into a digital format, complete with a recording of your voice. Quickly record demos and walkthroughs, from equations and illustrations to complex diagrams and charts. With a few clicks, your pen and paper masterpiece translates into something ready for the Web.
This workshop will provide an overview of how the architecture program is using this smart pen technology to teach structural systems, which is mathematics-based material systems. It will examine the advantages, disadvantages and teaching strategy of this engineering coursework and how it can apply to other mathematics based courses.
"Microgrants are available to cover the cost of the Pulse Pen for eligible faculty who will be using it to teach online or hybrid courses. |
