Thanks to support from the Provost’s office, Faculty Ombuds are now available on both the downtown and Anschutz campuses, to deal with issues or concerns such as:
• Policies or procedures
• Workplace climate or conflict
• Faculty rights and responsibilities
• Faculty-student issues
• Reappointment/Tenure/Promotion
• Ethical Issues
The confidential faculty Ombuds services are similar to other ombuds services, but emphasize issues specific to faculty. They are provided by trained professional ombuds and experienced faculty colleagues and include:
• Confidential discussions and exploration of options.
• Information gathering
• Help in managing conflict
• Informal mediation
• Help in reporting concerns to the University
